Twisted Cluster Stitch

Materials
Yarn
- Any DK weight yarn with 2 different colors.
Tools
- 3mm crochet hook.
- Tapestry needle.
Tension
Gauge:
In Pattern Stitch, 12 st * 10 rows = 2″ * 2″ (5*5 cm)
Abbreviations
This pattern is written using standard US crochet terminology.
- Ch = Chain(s)
- Sc = Single Crochet
- Fpdc = Front Post Double Crochet
- St(s) = Stitch (es)
Special stitch instructions:
3-dc cluster:
*yarn over, insert hook in the desired space, yarn over, pull through 2 loops* (2 loops on your hook), repeat * 2 more times (4 loops on your hook), yarn over, pull through all loops.

- The finished size and the amount of yarn used may vary depending on the individual's gauge.
- Change color after every 2 rows.
- If you want to change the final measurements, you can increase/decrease # of starting chains and # of rows until reaching the desired length & width.
Instructions:
Start with ch 22. [Multiples of 2 +2 (as a height)]
Row 1: sc in the 3rd ch from hook, sc in the next ch, sc across the remaining chains. [20 sc] Row 2: ch2, turn, sc in the same st, *ch1, skip next st, sc in the next st*, repeat * across the row.
Row 3: change color, ch2, turn, sc in the first space, ch3, 3dc cluster in the next space, ch1, skip next st, *3dc cluster in the next space, ch1, skip next space*, repeat * across until the end, dc in the last st.
Row 4: ch2, turn, sc in the next st, sc across the row. [20sc]
Row 5: change color, ch2, turn, sc in the same st, sc in the next st, *fpdc in the middle st of 3dc cluster 2 rows down, ch1, skip next st, sc in the next st*, repeat *across the row.
Row 6: ch2, turn, sc in the same st, *ch1, skip next st, sc in the next st*, repeat * across the row.
Row 7: change color, ch2, turn, sc in the first space, ch3, 3dc cluster in the next space, ch1, skip
next st, *3dc cluster in the next space, ch1, skip next st*, repeat * across until the end, dc in the last st.
Repeat rows 4 – 7 until reaching the desired length.
Fasten off, Weave in all ends.
