Who knots their work? I’ve always woven my ends in (minimum 6″ tails, zig-zag, and s$#%&!@*ch tacked with its own yarn), and have never, ever had anything unravel.
@[100001900029219:2048:Brenda Graves] … have you seen this?

Please don’t ever knot then cut your yarn at the knot! I’ve received granny squares, from swaps, that are finished this way. It becomes a waste really. I finish my squares similar to this but leave the 6″ tail in case the recipient wants to put a border on them.

I was taught to lay the color on top of the last row. About 4 inches on a color change.
Ending a work, its just weaved into the rows after the last stitch is completed.
thanks Deedee
Thank You Victoria Toler
Thanks for the technique, but I really loved the main red and green pattern. Is it the diamond trellis stitch? Where can I get the patter? Thanks a lot!
