Cool! I can’t wait to try this.
Neat concept but interested to know how it doesn’t pull back out? If you can pull it one direction and tighten it, isn’t it safe to $#%&!@*ume if you pull it the other, it will come out?
Does it work on bulky yarn (wool ease thick & quick ?
TY…
What a great idea!
Thanks, going to use this…:)
I wish I would have known about this a long time ago. Thanks for sharing this technique.
I like this tutorial I thought it was excellent and I think everybody that crochets and knits need to know this it is good information

Welcome Terry!
Wow, this is wonderful, going to use this way of joining from now on. THANKS for sharing
Wow this is amazing. Never heard or seen anything like this before. Never going to join yarn the old way again. Thank you for posting this!
Brilliant. 🙂 thanks
I love this method but it only works with certain types of yarn. Anything that reduces weaving in ends is good with me.
What yarns don’t work well for this join? So far, all I’ve used it for was either worsted acrylics or wool
Cotton and/or cotton blends don’t seem to do well.
Luv this way
No matter what I do, how many times I watch the video on this, I can’t get it to wirk
Kristine Elise Stecich
This is really neat.
Excellent way to join yarns. I love it!
Audi. Kelly…do you know this?
I just saved a video so that I can learn it 🙂
Excellent!
No but I will check it out. Thanks
I use this all the time, it’s great!
I always join like this, it is great. xx
What yarns work best with this?
I’ve watched this done several times – I think weaving in the ends is much easier!
Norma Did you know this?
oh how clever!
I saw the video but have never tried it…have you?
No, but I will next time.. I hate those straggly little pieces in the middle of a row 🙂 Hope this works.
I’ve used it/ tried it with several sizes of yarn and it’s more about the type of yarn. It needs to be the kind that separates into sections. So it won’t work with that fuzzy blanket yarn or the thin cotton yarn.
Let me know please

Monica Barber, have you seen this video? It’s amazing!!
No, but I will watch
Hate tying them ugh
Diane Bradley
cool
Now … just figure out how to do this in the EXACT right spot at the end of your row …….. and you’ve got it made! LOL
That is amazing….great idea I will try this
Just started using this method and love it
What about the extra thickness, does it show much?
Olga Jangada Nassar
Love this idea.
I use this method all the time and no, the extra thickness is negligible and won’t show at all in most work. I think the only issue might be in getting it in just the right spot for color changes.
never seen this before, can’t wait to try it.
It looks like it would take just as long to do this, than it would to weave the two ends in after tying in a new piece of yarn

Easy peasy thank u i hate having a bulge where the knot is
Easy peasy thank u i hate having a bulge where the knot is
WOW! Amazing ! Improves my pieces 100 %.
That takes as much if not more time than weaving ends.
