This amazing crochet owl carpet is made in Cotton Twine, 5 mm thick. The carpet measures 200 cm width from one wing to another and 163 cm height from the bottom of the belly to the tip of the ear. My guess is that you\'ll need to have some crocheting experience to make this rug. The Hedvig Owl Carpet designed and presented by Magic Carpet Studio comes with a video tutorial, and your experience will clearly help. You can find the written pattern too, unfortunately only in Polish on the designer\'s blog, but, if you want the English version, here is the one obtained using the Google translator: Hedvig Owl Carpet Translated

You will need about 1200 yards (1100 meters) of a 5 mm thick cotton twine and a 10 mm hook.
The whole work should take you about 10 hours.

Cute, but Im still gonna have to give my top vote to the Crochet Owl Bathroom Set I found on Pinterest! Unfortunately, the originator is not giving up a pattern for it, (just selling the item), but a close proximity can be found here: http://www.crochetpatternseasy.com/2016/05/pattern-free-written-rugs-owl.html?m=1

You’re welcome, clicked on the link and there was another link there that had the pattern in another language so I translated it and saved it. Unfortunately there was no print friendly button so my saved copy has the ads in it down the side of it lol

So cute would hate to wipe my feet on it!
True. But it would be nice under a coffee table or something where you don’t walk. 🙂
Like the doilies my mom used to crochet.
Which different colors you frequently use on crochet jobs?
