What a cute and fun little project to make! This very pretty candle holder would be perfect to make for tables at baby and wedding showers! The lotus is totally charming and looks so complex. This Tealight Lotus pattern design by Daniela Herbertz would work perfect with any style of home! However, for safety sake it would be better to use a battery operated tea light. Don’t leave unsupervised while burning the candle.
The compleet crochet piece is 15cm Ø
The little glass where the candle is in is 4cm Ø

Yes it is I want this
If I ever did this with my luck it would catch fire…
LOL
thank you.i think i see if they have the fake flame candles would be cool and much more safe but love this <3
Ooo, it almost looks edible.
Very pretty!
I used this pattern for my baby shower favors. They came out beautifully!
I think a real candle would just freak me out too much, maybe an electronic candle.
Mae Ludens look at this – isn’t it pretty?!
Not very safe that…very flammable
I would use the battery operated tea candles.
The idea’s lovely, but sure I would set the house on fire!

This is dangerous …..
That is so cute…..not sure if I would light the candles though.
Would be cuter (and safer) with a really large button
Definitely only use an led tea light as they don’t emit any heat.
all fun till the flower catches on fire
I would use a battery candle just because a real one would freak my mother out!
Really like this one
Would use battery tea light candles.
This pattern is lovely. We used it to make afghan squares for our around the world afghan as we study foreign countries. I have referenced it on my blog and sent them to access the pattern here on your site and on Ravelry. I have also included how we added a square around it. Thank you so much Daniela. You are so talented.
