Fast And Easy Crochet Blanket

Crochet this beautiful virus blanket as a baby blanket or as a king sized bed spread.
There are 4 repeating rows that “grow” the blanket.
Please watch my video tutorial for more detailed visual description of this pattern.

I have a 4.25 MM hook that I used for the pattern. I’m sure all G size hooks will work (4.00-4.50MM)

I used 2 skeins of Red Heart shimmer for a small baby blanket. Please grab extra yarn if you are unsure of sizing because personal tension and gauge will differ.

  1. That one measures 22″ so far and I just started on the second cake. I do tend to crochet a little tighter than some though. I only have the one cake left and I cannot get another of the same color (nor will I pay the ridiculous prices on ebay) so I might have to stop after this. I was going to stop after one cake but I just couldn’t, I loved it so much I had to keep going! Good luck with yours 🙂

  2. That is absolutely beautiful! I want to make it in the purple colours though, but when you go onto the video/pattern it just shows pink and white in thick bands of colour. Are there any instructions anywhere that show what purple wool is used and when to make the colour changes?
