[Free Pattern] Simple Yet Amazing Variation On A Basic Granny Square

This is such a beautiful square! It is, at base, a traditional granny but the added dtfps add so much texture and visual interest as to take it right out of ‘traditional’. Double Treble Burst Square by Amelia Beebe is a lovely square that feels luxuriously dense and looks dimensional. It's so easy to get in a good crocheting groove with this pattern!

  1. Round three had me in tears. I just can’t get it. Wish there was a video tutorial or at least pictures as you go on this round. Couldn’t figure out where to put hook when it said go into same chain….it got all bunched up. Very difficult.
