Making a rectangle granny square blanket can be a little tricky. Granny squares are easy to make but how do you make a rectangle one? Knowing how to start sometimes it's all it takes to master the pattern. Mikey of The Crochet Crowd has made it easy for all of us. He has broken down the steps and figured out the math it takes to start the rectangular afghans. You’ll get the Patterns for All Sizes of Afghans: Crib, Twin, Full / Double, Queen, King and Day Bed.
If you're looking for the starting chain count for any of the above sizes, visit The Crochet Crowd to ensure you achieve the finished size you want for your rectangle granny square blanket.

Very good patterns.
Love all patterns
great idea, first afghan I ever made just beautiful
Great pattern. Can you give me an idea of the length of the starting chain for a baby crib size ? I thought maybe 38 chains ?
Oops…. I just read it for a crib it is 13 chains to start. Thank you !
I have a queen size bed that I want to make a throw for that will only cover the top of the mattress. According to your patterns a queen size mattress is 60″ X 80″ but all it says for a queen is to make a regular square. How many chains would I need to make a 60″ X 80″ rectangle? Please email me this information as I really want to make this for my bed.
