Hi! For the arms, I’m confused about the directions to leave a long tail before sl st. I have ch9 then I would think I need to join the two ends with sl St and then leave a long tail after that sl st. Can you help?

I am confused about the body and legs… I know they need to be stuffed, but not sure how they go together. The picture looks as if it is all one stuffed piece. Do I leave the body and legs both open (without stuffing) when I finish off? Then somehow sew them on? And stuff as one piece?
