Let's start with the practical stuff, this is what you need:

370 grams of Scheepjes Stonewashed yarn.
You'll need 2 balls of Moon Stone (nr. 801) for the hearts of the hexagons and the edge.
But other than that you can pick whatever colour you like, there are so many lovely colors available. So go crazy and pick the ones you like. If you need a reference, these are the colors I used.
One ball of:
Smokey quartz (802)
Black onyx (803)
Boulder opal (804)
Blue apatite (805) (2x, I picked this color for the edge, but you can chose any color you like)
Canada jade (806)
Red jasper (807)
Corondum ruby (808)
Yellow jasper (809)

Crochet hook 4 mm, your stuff for wet blocking your work. If you wonder how to wet block, I've written a nifty tutorial on wet blocking crochet projects.
