Really simple yet so beautiful, this baby blanket is relaxing and easy to make. This pattern is a wonderful combination of great choices. The pastel colors chosen for this Easy Baby Blanket by Claire from Crochet Leaf are so sweet and perfect for a baby. The darling, simple little edging added to this baby blanket made in soft variegated baby yarn adds so much cuteness to the whole project.

What is fingering yarn?!
Fingering yarn is a finer and softer yarn than your typical acrylic worsted-weight. It’s used for smaller, lighter or softer projects like socks or baby items where regular “common acrylic” or wool would be too thick or heavy. It can also be used for soft adult items like light shawls or even summer weight sweaters. It’s not as thin as a thread or lace yarn, not as thick as worsted. You may see it labeled number 1 and may also be called super-fine, baby or sock yarn. It can be worked using hooks ranging from B1 to E1. It’s really nice to work with and perfect for soft baby afghans and clothing.
I love these soft colors.
