A smart little bird told me (via ravelry comments) that a true shamrock is only three leaves. So while this may be a nice pattern for a four-leaf clover, you should leave out one repeat from each round to make a shamrock.

I love the patterns advertised, but it’s frustrating looking for the right thing to push to get to the pattern. Pop ups and advertisements are frustrating
@[100000765664161:2048:Cathy], the pattern are always linked to the name of the pattern. ( first letter capital in the name, followed by the name of the designer. More likely in the first paragraph most of the time). This rule applies to all articles. Hope this simplifies things and takes the frustration away. Please let me know how it works for you. Thanks.
