This is a fantastic blanket! Very warm and fast to make, this is the perfect blanket for a baby born when is really cold outside. The 2 Sided Baby Afghan by Janet David looks gorgeous on both sides. This stitch makes a lovely reversible fabric that is pretty thick and heavy. So pretty that it doesn't even need an edging!

Must try
My grandmother had a pattern of this same blanket, i also have one that she made. I want to try to do this, will have to study the pattern, if there was a you tube video that would be helpful. I get pattern challenged sometimes.
I’ve made this many times! Beautiful pattern!

I’ve been making this afghan for littles ones for 40 years. My grandmother made one for my daughter and that got me hook. It takes time.
