I’ve been wanting to make small area rugs for a long time but didn’t know what to use as a backing. I was in the Home Depot the other day and I saw the canvas dropcloth’s. I was thinking they could be cut down and used as an appropriate backing. Then I could attach a nonskid backing to the drop cloth piece. All of it would be machine washable /Air dry. I think this is right; has anyone ever tried it?
I didn’t find the free pattern just a few pictures of it in progress.
Margaret, where it says “I used this Pattern….” you need o click on the word Pattern, in orange-red color. Hope it helps!
Please don’t post a beautiful crocheted rug to a link to several links and the last link page does not exist. I love this pattern and now I can’t get it. Perhaps you should test your links first before you post it.
You can make this from any doily pattern and a large hook.
