My mother made these back in ’78. We still have them, use them and love them. I’m in the process of making a new set for my husband and my soon to be daughter.

These patterns were in a Family Circle Magazine in December of 1977. I have made 11 of the Santa stocking in the center, one for each of my grandchildren as they came along. They all still have them. I did make the granny square version for craft events.

Omgosh! I made these christmas stockings almost 37 years ago. Me boys still have them! Toooooo funny!
i made the granny square for each of my kids and grandkids and great grandchild…i made 100 of them and sold at work years and years ago…

My grandkids were appalled last year when Santa left nothing in Nanny and PawPaws stockings. When you don’t have young kids living with you it’s hard to remember some little things. I won’t let it happen again…. 😉
